Our plant and machinery hire services are supplied subject to the CPA Model Conditions for the Hiring of Plant.

Please read these conditions before placing an order or accepting hired equipment. These conditions apply to business customers and are not intended for consumer contracts.

Overview of the hire conditions

The conditions cover matters including:

  • the hire period and basis of charging;

  • delivery, collection, loading and unloading;

  • safe operation and care of hired machinery;

  • site access and ground conditions;

  • breakdowns, repairs and downtime;

  • responsibility for loss, theft or damage;

  • insurance and accident notification;

  • payment terms, cancellation and termination;

  • transport, fuel and operator charges;

  • dispute resolution and late payment.
